To members of the PESDHH community,

     I am saddened to report that PESDHH's Convocation Planning Committee has come to the conclusion that this year's Convocation must be canceled.  The limited number of confirmed registrations resulted in an assessment that this Convocation is not economically feasible. The hoped for late surge in registrations never materialized.

     I want to thank all the people who agreed to be presenters and those who directly and indirectly supported this year's Convocation.  A special "Thank You!" goes out to the members of the Planning Committee for their time, collaboration and hard work.  Pennsylvania School for the Deaf extended many "in kind" services and offered their campus for our Convocation. And I want to thank those who did send in their checks, they will be returned to you.  Please save the funds for next year.

     It is my sincere hope that PESDHH will be able to offer a Convocation next year in a different economic environment.
